Shadow has a strong background in English riding, making him ideal for students interested in low-level jumping and developing solid fundamentals. Known as the “bumpiest horse in the barn,” he’s perfect for teaching the posting trot and helping riders build balance and confidence. Calm and steady, Shadow also shines as a therapeutic riding partner, offering gentle support and patience to riders of all abilities.

 Standing at an impressive 18 hands high, Kahuna has a versatile background as a cart horse and training in both English and Western disciplines, he brings experience and steadiness to every ride.  Kahuna helps students feel not only safe but empowered in the saddle.  Don't let his size fool you- this gentle giant is truly the puppy dog of the herd!

 Spirit thrives in natural lifemanship, focusing on connection, communication, and partnership.  He teaches students the importance of patience, calmness, and confidence- both in and out of the saddle.  Spirit is best suited for riders who enjoy learning alongside their horse, building riding skills while developing trust and understanding.  He is excelling in the program and becoming a well-rounded lesson horse.

 Bailey has been a lesson and therapy horse for many years.  Her kind and gentle demeanor make her a favorite for littles and volunteers.  Bailey has a forward, rhythmic walk which is sooting for the nervous system.  She is an amazing partner - always willing to help out in any session and takes care of her riders like a grandma!  In the herd, she is also known as the boss lady!

Color: Chestnut

Lariat is a Texas-bred cow horse with a heart as big as his job resume.  Before joining SISS'S program, Larry worked as a team roping and ranch horse, giving him a solid foundation, great work ethic, and the calm confidence we love in a lesson partner.  Larry will help teach students a different way of riding, focusing on feel, balance, and real-world horsemanship skills.

  Sissy is our western queen! Bold, Confident, and full of personality!  She specializes in intermediate to advanced lessons, with her strong suit being barrel racing and other timed events. Whether you’re looking to shave seconds off your pattern or refine your seat and cue precision, Sissy is the partner that makes every ride count.

  Color: Dark Bay

 Ice is the perfect mount for young riders and first timers.  He has been teaching students to ride since he was seven years old after a career as a western pleasure show horse.  As a school master, Ice has competed in hunter jumper, barrels, drill team and both English and western pleasure. Ice is as forgiving as they coming making him the ultimate starter horse!

 Color: Rose gold flea bitten grey      

   Bodhi is a seasoned lesson and therapy horse.  He has travelled to compete in various disciplines both English and western, has participated in parades and festivals and is a brave leader on the trails.  He is athletic and agile while also being docile and easy going.  Bodhi is a horse who will take care of young riders and those with special needs but can also shine in a show ring jumping fences or turning barrels. Bodhi is a beautiful mover with animated gaits and a pep in his step!

Breed: Paint

Color: Palomino 

Nala has a special talent for the English discipline.  She's forward moving yet smooth gaited, making her a fun and comfortable ride. Although she thrives in a show ring, Nala makes a perfect horse for trail riding or to take to competitive game shows as she is quick footed!  Agile, easygoing, and versatile, Nala is ready to shine and help our rides Stride in Style!

     Age: 9  

Breed: Shetland Pony

      Color: Sorrel     

  Juan is our pint-sized superstar!  This Shetland pony may be tiny, but he is full of personality and talent.  Juan is as versatile as they come, from jumping and barrel racing to cart pulling and tricks!  Juan is the true definition of "Tiny but Mighty!" with a feisty spirit and kind soul.  No bad habits are found with this pony.  Juan works in both western and english disciplines, showing off his agility and willingness to please.  Juan is Stride in Style's mascot so keep a lookout for him when you see us at special events!  While Juan loves to do it all, his strong suit is winning hearts and teaching confidence to our youngest riders!

      Color: Bay     

 Ricky is the protector of the herd and a trusted friend and companion to his BFF, Ice.  Ice and Ricky have a unique bond and you will often find them sharing their hay in the same stall or resting together in the pasture.  Ricky gets quite vocal when they are not together and his bray can be heard all over town.  He is gentle and affectionate with a special love for children.  Ricky enjoys being included in activities with the after-school kids and he LOVES music!  His long ears are a favorite for petting as is his super soft muzzle!
