Welcome to SISS Riding Academy

Private Lessons

Private Lessons

Private Lessons

Private lessons offer one-on-one instruction tailored specifically to the rider’s individual goals, pace, and experience level. All new riders begin in private lessons.  Once some basic skills are mastered, riders are able to transition to group lessons.  Riding lessons are offered to children and adults six years of age and older.  For younger kids, we offer pony rides!

Private lessons include:

  • Personalized coaching to meet the rider where they are and help them progress with confidence.

  • In-depth instruction on riding skills, horsemanship, and communication with the horse.

  • Flexible focus areas, such as position, control, groundwork, or preparation for shows.

  • Quiet, distraction-free environment for enhanced learning and connection with the horse.

Group Lessons

Private Lessons

Our group riding lessons are designed to foster skill development, confidence, teamwork and cooperation among riders in a supportive and engaging environment.  Riders are grouped by age, level of ability and riding discipline.  Group lessons are offered for children and adults six years of age and older.  For younger kids, we offer pony rides!

Group sessions include:

  • Mounted instruction focused on improving balance, coordination, and riding technique.

  • Horsemanship education covering topics such as grooming, tack, and horse behavior.

  • Progressive skill building with individualized goals within the group setting.

  • Fun and connection through shared experiences with peers and horses.

Group lessons encourage teamwork, communication, and responsibility—key components of becoming a well-rounded rider

and equestrian.
